Physical Therapist

Dr. Ashton Hallsted-Kallhoff, PT, DPT, DN-1, originally from Casper, WY, is a passionate and dedicated physical therapist. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology with minors in Psychology and Nutrition from Colorado State University in 2021, and will graduate with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 2025.

Dr. Ashton also recently completed her level 1 Dry Needling Certification (DN-1) from Myopain Seminars. She is the first clinician in our clinics to offer Dry Needling as a specialty service to our patients.

Dr. Ashton's love for science and movement, fostered by her father, led her to physical therapy. A lifetime athlete, she witnessed many friends' recovery journeys and, through her experience as a clinic technician, discovered her passion for connecting with individuals and helping them return to their beloved activities. She believes PT is the perfect blend of sport, connection, science, and life, and aims to help patients build better lives.

Dr. Ashton is passionate about challenging herself, expanding her knowledge, and helping others. As a new graduate, she is open to various treatments, with a particular interest in working with athletes, identifying the root cause of issues, and assisting older adults in aging well. Her ultimate goal is to be the best PT, guiding patients through challenging times to reach their optimal movement potential, and fostering a caring, compassionate, and positive exercise environment.

Her previous experiences include organizing the 3rd annual Ryan Hanks liftathon, raising over $5k for the SD Special Olympics, and integrating with the National and State Senior Games through the Sustained Athlete Fitness Exam (SAFE) program. Ashton was a Division 2 First Team All-American track and field athlete, competing in various throwing events. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, and pheasant hunting with her husband Bryce and black lab Ruger. She is excited to begin her career and embark on more travel adventures.

Keith Roed

Dr. Keith Roed received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD in 2007. He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2011 from Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center. He has completed extensive post-graduate course work in orthopedic manual therapy, becoming a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) in 2014 through the Institute of Manipulative Physiotherapy and Clinical Training (I.M.P.A.C.T.). He has been an Astym Certified Physical Therapist since 2014, which has aided him in helping many people overcome chronic pain conditions and movement deficiencies since 2014. Dr. Keith is also certified in Functional Movement Screens (FMS), which is a tool used to identify asymmetries which result in functional movement deficiencies.

Dr. Keith’s background includes working extensively with foot and ankle issues as well as hip, knee, lower back , hand/wrist, elbow, shoulder and neck pain—including the treatment of acute and chronic headaches. He also works with athletic injuries and those who have chronic or lingering pain, even for years. He takes pride in being able to get positive outcomes with very difficult cases where other treatments or options have failed. He has treated individuals at all ages and skill levels from adolescents to elderly, weekend warriors to college and professional athletes—all with the purpose and goal to return them to their sport or activity that they love.
